  • Pussycat Dolls!

So, haha, some of you may know, post college, I'm quite the introvert and basically   have no nightlife.  Anyways, so a good friend of mine that I haven't seen   in a while said she was going to Gypsy Bar on Friday night.  And my sole   intention was to go and meet up with her.

Little did I realize, like a day before, the Pussycat Dolls afterparty was there!    So yea, if anyone's seen my pictures of Usher, I get quite start struck!    Had my camera ready to roll, but by the end of the night, my battery was dead!    Grrrr!  Pictures speak for themselves, Nicole is hot!  Haha, I only   knew her, and Kenny from Dancelife, he was the second hottest one there in my   opinion, man-crush.

This picture was not intentional. Trust me, when you have your arm stretched   out and zooming in with your camera and shooting blindly, let's just say you   get some interesting shots....

And the funny/sad thing is.... the person I was going there originally to see,   I couldn't find her the whole night =(

Did get to see the hot tall asian bartender though, drool.

  • TreeHugger-Style Roller Coaster in Japan: It's Pedal Powered

by Lloyd Alter, Toronto on 03.14.07

    pedal1.jpg

Here is the future of the green amusement park: The Skycycle at Washuzan Highland Park in Okayama, a pedal-powered roller coaster. They clearly have some dramatic topography to take advantage of here, and it looks truly frightening. Most North American amusement parks are on pretty flat terrain but they often build artificial mountains- Demand a green ride like this on the Magic Mountain.

The side-by-side tandem pedal-powered carts have seat belts, and a cute pink basket.

I think I may have made a mistake....

OMG I have to go on THAT?
UPDATE: No, as commenters pointed out and I missed, that is a separate roller coaster. If you
check out the additional pictures link at the bottom you will see this more clearly.

this is evidently known as "the third corner of fear!"

Luxury Pie: NYC Restaurant Offers $1,000 Pizza

Nino Selimaj Unveils Grand Pizza Featuring Caviar, Lobster

(CBS) NEW YORK We've been dealing with the pocket-emptying effects of rising gas prices, new electric rates, and an increase in cab fare, but how would you feel about breaking the bank all for...a pizza? Now you can find out thanks to Manhattan restauranteur Nino Selimaj, who has apparently brought from the heavens a real "pie in the sky" with his new $1,000 pizza.

    Yep, that'll be $1,000 please.

The pizza will be added to the menu at "Nino's Bellisima," one of Selimaj's six restaurants in the city. Forget traditional cheese and pizza sauce, the record-priced pie will be topped with creme fraiche, chives, eight ounces of four different kinds of Petrossian caviar, four ounces of thinly sliced Maine lobster tail, salmon roe, and a little bit of spice with wasabi.

And unlike your typical pizza, this one won't be cooked, after all, that would spoil the fish. The 12-inch pie is sliced into four pieces, which comes to $250 per slice.

"Let them say I'm crazy," Selimaj says. "But I believe in this product, and it's gonna sell!"

So who's gonna buy this pie? Selimaj is betting Wall Street business types.

"My luxury pizza will become as famous as a night at the Waldorf Astoria. When Mr. Chow's introduced upscale Asian Cuisine several years ago, people couldn't imagine paying hundreds of dollars for Chinese food. Now upscale Asian cuisine is as common as New York hotdogs. Upscale Pizza will be next," Selimaj said.

The previous international record for pizza found on a menu was $193 at Gordon Ramsey's Maze restaurant in London.

  • Peter Petrelli!!

OK, no embarrassment, I have a huge mancrush on Peter Petrelli.  I mean, I'm not sure which moment was cooler, when he stopped that thing being shot at him on the rooftop, or when he later jumped off and started flying.  He's so NEOish and so cool.  Yea I know I sound like a giddy schoolgirl, I can't help it

    HEROES!!!!
